As a part of Smal agency we partnered up with Flex on their new branch in solar energy. Our goal was to highlight the benefits of onboarding solar into customer’s home and bridge clients with Flex.

Little number of required interaction stayed. This actions needed to be performed designed in a way to be remembered by customers and it is joyful to use making sure of engagement.

Process

① Brief Reading / Listening kick-off brief from a client. Stating questions along the way. Once the meeting is over in a separate discussion challenging brief in a way to bring new dimensions to it. Such ideas will to align with client. Outcome: follow up with client on understanding and clarifying open questions and any other aspects to make sure all sides are on the same page

② Analysis. Competitors research. In general being curious what did happen in other industries to set the quality bar. Outcome: design proposal

③ Outcome 1: wireframes communicating the ideas and directions for storytelling. Feedback: Inviting client to share their feedback to clarify the input. Continue with analysis. Steps 2 and 3 can repeat for a while

④ Refine. Once “big idea” is there. Polish design language and details, work on micro-interactions

⑤ Deliver. Hand over to engineers final designs and assets. Documentation and animatics for animations that needs to be coded. Outcome: coded versions that identical to designs that client signed off.
